Shotover Jet!!!

After another struggling week,
I decided to have a break and go to the world famous ‘Shotover Jet’!
This is one of NZ’s most famous attraction, where you go on a high powered boat with a professional driver and drive through a narrow river at a max speed of nearly 90kph, and also do 360° spins!
It was probably the most amazing experience I have ever had at an attraction and definitely the most thrilling!
Definitely recommend this to anyone who comes to Queenstown!

For dinner I had Venison Teppanyaki!
It was my first time but to be honest…I couldn’t see what was so great about it….

I am travelling back to Gold Coast today, and will be going to Toowoomba tomorrow for the QLD PGA Championship which starts on Thursday.
Although I am a little tired after travelling for these back to back tournaments, I will have to recover quickly so I can give my absolute best in the upcoming event!

Peter Senior

I got the chance to play with Australian Golfing Legend Mr Peter Senior!

I have known him since I was a junior and he has always been a great mentor to me.
He has taught me many things throughout these years, but I still can’t get over how much of an amazing ball striker he is.
Whether he is on course or practice range, his ball flight control (height, distance etc) are identical each time.

I know that in order to become a worldwide player, I have to at least be able to hit it as consistently as he does.
Shows that I have a long way to go!

Too hot!!

The Gold Coast is getting hotter by the day.  The humidity is also rising as we have entered storm season (December & January).
Today I went for a practice round at a local golf course.  It was so hot even 4 bottles of water didn’t last me 18 holes!!

I also came across some bird bathing in some water it made me want to join as well…
I also think pool training isn’t a bad idea during this time of the year..

Shot -8!

Today I shot my best score on my home course, -8!
I played great with 7 birdies, 1 eagle and one bogey!
After my round I checked to see if it would be the course record, only to find out that Peter Senior (who also practices here during off season) shot -9…
I still have a long way to go!!!
