Yesterday was the final day of the NSW Open.
My game was okay, however, a few easy mistakes led to me missing the cut by a couple.
The course was in great condition and was playing fairly easy the first few days, leading to some good scores making the cut at -5!
I spent the last few days practicing and getting ready for tomorrows Monday Qualifier for the Australian Open Championship.
It was also my 20th Birthday on Friday! Thank you very much to everyone who sent me birthday messages!
Today was the final of the QLD Open.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t play well on the second day and missed the cut.
My putting was great throughout the week, however, my iron play was very poor and I struggled to hit greens in regulation, leading to many easy bogeys.
I am back at home practicing hard to get my long game back in control, preparing for the NSW Open in a couple of weeks time!!
Today was the final round of the South Pacific Open!
I finished T35th after a tough final day in some extremely windy conditions.
Throughout the week my iron play was great but my Driving and putting let me down which led to some easy mistakes.
Tomorrow I will be flying back to Australia to practice and get ready for my first European Tour event, the Fiji International!
It will be a strong field so I definitely have to bring my best game in a weeks time!
Last Friday I played the Breakas Beach Resort Virginia Pro-am, and I won! This is my first win as a professional and I am absolutely stoked!
The conditions were playing pretty tough with wind and a bit of rain, but I managed to hold on until the end.
This is such a great confidence boost before I fly over to New Caledonia next week for the South Pacific Open Championship, where I came second 2 years ago!
Hopefully I can keep this momentum going for the rest of the year.
Thank you to all the sponsors and supporters throughout my career.
I will make sure there are many more wins to come!
Today I played in the Southport Pro-am tournament.
I again, could not play and score the way I wanted as my long game was still in bad shape.
Although it wasn’t a “pleasant” round, it was good to know what type habits I keep on repeating when I play competition rounds.
These pro-ams are a perfect way to get your golf ready for the bigger tournaments!!
