Recently we have been having a lot of rain in Australia. Hopefully it stops raining so I can get back to practice tomorrow!
In the afternoon, the rain stops momentarily and a magnificent rainbow is formed. Maybe it’s a sign that we are going to get some good weather from tomorrow!!
By the way, when it rains, most people in Japan use an umbrella right? In Australia, people don’t really use an umbrella and just get wet. Some people walk in barefoot as well! So wild!
Recently, I have gained a lot of muscle mass.
However, in order to play golf I need flexible muscle.
It is easy to put on normal solid muscle, but it will limit my movement during my golf swing.
Therefore, I am doing as much as possible during my training to put less solid muscle and more flexible muscle.
I’m quite flexible right?
Today around 6am while I was practicing, I sensed some movement behind me.
I thought it was a person, but when I looked back, it was a kangaroo with a baby one in its pocket!!
You don’t have this happen to you everyday!
It felt like these kangaroos were cheering for me while I practice!!
I have lived in Australia for around 7 years, but I still seem to be fascinated every time I see one!
This belt that has rubber cords attached to it is called the “Posture belt”.
It helps widen my chest, which would help me set my take back straight and on plane.
It’s not as easy as it seems!
If I get too fat, I won’t be able to wear this one…
Today I used the trackman, a device that calculates swing data (swing speed, ball speed, smash factor…etc..), to see my statistics.
I found out that I was hitting the ball in a very steep angle which had caused a lot of power loss.
The person who is not wearing a hat is Kevin.
He will be my new coach from today!
I may look small in this picture, but it is actually Kevin that’s tall!
He is 2.09m tall. Oh my god~
