Unfortunately, I missed the cut by 1 stroke today.
I played a lot better compared to yesterday, being -3 for the day at one point.
I made some little mistakes on the back nine which was costly, and ended up with this result.
However, I did learn a lot from todays mistakes, and will make sure it won’t happen again!
I will be practicing hard to get ready for the South-Pacific Championship in 2 weeks time!
Today was my first round of Queensland Open, and unfortunately, I did not score well today.
I’m not going to blame on the weather but I was slightly unlucky with my tee time – being the first group off at 6.30am!
It was rainy and very windy, which is a deadly combination for this tough course…
I also struggled with my iron distance control and putting, which is never a good sign especially in poor weather conditions like today.
I’m going to give everything I got tomorrow to make up for todays mistakes!!
Today when I went for a practice round, I met a couple of my amateur friends whom I grew up playing competitive junior golf with!
They’re really good players so it is going to be interesting competing against them in the same field again!
It’s only 3 days until the Queensland Open!
The scoreboards and banners are already put up, making the golf course into a more competitive atmosphere!
Can’t wait to tee off on Thursday!!
QLD open starts in less than a week now!
You can find these promotion posters everywhere!
However, the last few days we have been having heavy rain with extreme winds, so I’m hoping the weather will be better next week…
