Today was the second day of the WA PGA Championship.
Unfortunately I again missed the cut by a single stroke.
Although I did have a lot of other mistakes, the biggest miss today was the 3 putt on the last hole from 7-8 meters.
Including this, I have many regrets from the past 2 rounds, but I will find a way to fix this and play better in my next coming events!
Thank you very much to everyone who was thinking for me this week!
Kalgoorlie is known as the gold mining town, due to the fact that they were digging up gold since over 100 years ago!
Even until today they are still digging up gold everyday!
A lot of the buildings are also over 100 years old it feels like I’m at an amusement park!
And the amazing thing is, these buildings are still regularly used today!
This place is not only filled with gold, but also with a lot of history!
Apparently last year the hole in one prize for the tournament was a chunk of solid gold…now thats something to look forward to!
Yesterday after our 6 hour long drive, we finally arrived!
Although the road felt like it was just in one straight line forever, we were able to see the horizon all round!
If anyone is going to Kalgoorlie from Perth, I definitely recommend using a plane…
I safely arrived in Perth! Now the long drive awaits…
At least the gps is telling us to go straight for the next 534kms…
Today I will be departing the Gold Coast for Perth, to play the WA PGA Championship.
It will take 5.5 hours flying to Perth, then we have to drive for at least 6.5 hours inland from there…and apparently the golf course is in the middle of a desert!
It really amazes me how big Australia is!
This is going to be a loooong trip!
