Elvis on the Gold Coast!!

This evening I went to a Elvis tribute show which was held at my golf club!!
Although I only recognised a handful of songs, the performance was great and the atmosphere really took me back to the 1950’s!!

There were a lot of elder people enjoying it and I’m sure I will be one of them in 50 years time when there is a tribute for an artist I like today…

Spikey stick!!

Continuing with the spikey ball, this is my new strech item; my spikey stick!!
I got given this by a close friend yesterday.
It looks like a normal stretch pole with spikes, however, these spikes really dig in and hurt like hell!!
My neck gets quite stiff often, so I like to lay down and use it as a neck pillow which gives me instant relief!

Spikey stretch ball

Recently I’ve been using these spikey balls for stretching.
These are really good as it pinpoints the sore areas.
All you need to do is place it under the sore area and apply some of your body weight and make small movements to find the exact spot.
These balls are widely used by Australian athletes!!

My favourite muesli bar!!

I usually eat this musli bar while playing golf.
It is so much healthier compared to other snacks, and the most best part is that its energy lasts long which is great for endurance sports like golf that require a lot of focus throughout a long period of time.

Usually energy bars like these don’t taste good, but this one actually tastes great I eat it as a snack at home!!

The Memorial tournament

I was watching the Memorial tournament and saw Tiger shoot 85…
He may be in a big slump right now, however, I still believe he has more major wins under his belt and can become a dominating golfer again!
Hopefully he makes a big comeback tomorrow!

Mr Matsuyama had a great start so hopefully he can keep playing well to defend his title tomorrow against the strong field!

Every time I watch these top players play it gives me a more better understanding of where I need to strengthen my game.
Currently, my accuracy within 100 yards is nowhere near it should be, and even watching on Tv majority of the players are so strong within this range. I better get practicing to take my golf another step closer to the PGA tour!!
