Yakiniku!!!

Last night I went out with some friends to eat yakiniku!!
I haven’t had it in so long and it was great!!
This yakiniku restaurant only serves Wagyu so I couldn’t stop my chopsticks until I was full and couldn’t move…

Yakiniku

3rd hole-in-one this year!

Today I had another hole-in-one!!
Unfortunately it was not during a tournament, but it was my 6th hole-in-one in my golfing life!

It was at my home club, on the 14th hole with a 3 Iron from 210yards.
It hit the shot perfectly as it landed in line with the pin and trickled into the center of the hole.

Hopefully I have more during an official tournament round!

Snowing in Queensland?!

Today I saw on the news that it was snowing in a place 3 hours west of where I live!!
It was extremely cold during practice today, with temperatures around 12°C and 29kph winds!
The ball was moving 5m side ways for 15m chip shots and reading the line/wind for putting seemed impossible…
After a practice session in the morning, I stayed home and watched replays of The Open Championship being played at St.Andrews!!

Spring Boks!!

Spring Boks

Today at my home club, the South African Rugby team, the Spring Boks,  came to play some golf before their match on Saturday!!

When we took this picture, I felt like I was standing next to a brick wall…
The guy in the orange shirt is 2.05m tall!!! *I’m 182cm*

Also when I saw the entire team I was pretty glad that I’m a golfer because they all looked like they can snap me in half…

If they have a decent golf swing, I can’t even imagine how long they would hit the ball!

Fireflies

Last night I went to see some fireflies!
These fireflies are different to the ones in Japan and flash about once every second!
We can find them right next to the beach, and it was amazing.
It was too dark to take a picture of the fireflies, so I took a picture of the night time beach instead!!
