Today I shot my best score on my home course, -8!
I played great with 7 birdies, 1 eagle and one bogey!
After my round I checked to see if it would be the course record, only to find out that Peter Senior (who also practices here during off season) shot -9…
I still have a long way to go!!!
Today while I was driving on the highway, a rock had hit my front windscreen and made a loud bang.
Luckily it didn’t crack while I was driving, however, after I returned from golf there was a big crack down the middle!!!
I’ll have to get it repaired as soon as possible…
There was a wedding at my home club, and they had some fireworks launched from the golf course!
Today I played at another different golf course called Keperra Golf Country Club.
This is the home of one of the biggest amateur tournament in Queensland.
The course itself isn’t long, but if you aren’t accurate it is very difficult.
One course management error can lead to a disastrous score!!
I remember playing here as a junior several years ago in a tournament and played really well!
I think this course really suits my game!
Recently I’ve been playing at various courses in order to prepare for the up coming tournaments!
This is so I can play in all sorts of conditions (grass type, winds, course management).
The golf course I played at today was right next to the ocean and had a great view!
It can get quite windy there so it was great for my punch shot practice.
It wasn’t a long course, but was very narrow and the bunkers were placed in tough spots which had me playing various strategies throughout the round!
Practicing at all sorts of courses really help me tune up and ready to play tournaments!
