Today I went to a physio to get my body checked and also received my new pre/post round stretches and exercises!
These golf specific exercises will help me not only improve but keep my posture and swing consistent.
It will be interesting to see how much effect it will have on my game!
Preparation for my upcoming tournaments in New Zealand is going well!
I am hitting the ball a lot better and my putting is better, however, still needs more improvement if I want to see my name up on the leaderboard on the final round!!
Today I met Mr Peter Senior and asked him for advice on how I can improve my putting.
He gave me a long putt drill to work on to decrease the amount of 3 putts I make, and it might be the hardest drill I have ever done…
I’m so grateful for him for the help he gives me.
This is an update to my recently finished tournament, the Victorian PGA Championship.
After a struggling round on the first day with a 75, I had a good round on the second day with a 67 making the cut by 2 shots.
However, on the weekend I had a lot of issues with my putting which resulted in me finishing T50 for the tournament.
I am currently back home working really hard on my putting to prepare for my next tournament in the start of March, the New Zealand PGA Championship where several JGTO players will be competing as well!
I will have to bring my best game to compete against some strong fields next month!
I am currently on my way to the next tournament venue.
It is an approximately 130km drive, so about 2 hours.
Hopefully we don’t get stuck in heavy traffic!
Also yesterday afternoon we found a coin laundry place so we decided to wash a weeks worth at once.
I hadn’t realised how much clothes I had worn in the past week….
Now that everything is all set, I can completely focus on my golf!
