Today I played in the Southport Pro-am tournament.
I again, could not play and score the way I wanted as my long game was still in bad shape.
Although it wasn’t a “pleasant” round, it was good to know what type habits I keep on repeating when I play competition rounds.
These pro-ams are a perfect way to get your golf ready for the bigger tournaments!!
Yesterday I played in a pro-am tournament at Coolangatta Tweed Heads golf club. I didn’t play too well as I struggled a lot on the greens…sometimes even reading the putts to break the opposite direction!
Even though I couldn’t play my best, it is still a great way to prepare for my upcoming tournaments in a few weeks time!
My next pro-am is on Monday at Southport Golf Club. Hopefully I can play better there!
Recently there has been a ramen boom in Australia, and the amount of ramen shops has been increasing!!
This is perfect for me because ramen happens to be my most favourite food in the world!
Recently my home club also went through a menu change…and now it includes Shoyū ramen (soy sauce base)!!
I had it yesterday and was amazed to how good it was.
Looks like I will be eating lunch more often at the club house now…
I am still currently practicing hard to get ready for this weeks pro-am tournament at Coolangatta Tweed-heads Golf Club!
My long game is improving although it still needs more work to be done.
Although my long game is not as good as it should be, my scoring is still consistent as my short game is still in form, covering for my miss shots.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what low scores I can shoot when everything falls in place!
The weather here last few weeks has been perfect for practice.
However, the next couple of days is predicted to be heavy rain all day- a perfect chance to practice for wet weather conditions!
After my tough round last Sunday in Darwin, I’ve been spending a lot of time on the range to improve my ball control so I can get prepared for the pro-am tournaments next week!
Although I’m not making major changes to my swing as the season has started, I still need to tweak some bits to get myself competition-ready!!
