Getting ready for next week

Next week there is a pro-am tournament which the pro’s play for actual prize money.
They have many of these small tournaments throughout the year all around Australia, and the next few weeks is going to be based close to my home!
Next week is at Coolangatta Tweed Heads golf club, which is the course I was practicing at prior going to Darwin!
I will really need to sharpen my long game control if I want to shoot a good score!!

NT PGA Final

Today was the last round of the NT PGA Championship. Although I had a solid first 2 rounds, I couldn’t keep it going to the end and ended up finishing T46th.
My long game fell apart during the weekend which led to a horrible score.
However, this week was a really good lesson, and also gave me confidence as now I know I can get in contention.
Thank you very much to everyone who supported me this week and I will get back to practice straight away to not let anyone down next time!

NT PGA Championship

Today was the second day of the NT PGA Championship.
I shot scores of 68, 69 (Par71) with a total of -5 currently coming tied 5th place.
Putting has been going really well and hopefully I can keep this form going for the weekend!

Darwin

Today I played a practice round at Palmerston Golf Club, where the NT PGA Championship is held this week starting Thursday.
It is so hot here it is over 30°C here even during winter!
The course is short but very narrow where it will test everyones iron control.
Tomorrow I will be getting my final preparations done before I tee off at 11.55am on Thursday!

Off to Darwin!

Tonight I will be flying into Darwin.
The final half of the season finally begins as the Northern Territory PGA Championship starts this Thursday.
I can’t wait to play my first event in 3 months!!
My golf is getting along better and hopefully it will be at its best this Thurday!
