This week I’ve been busy getting myself ready for next weeks Fiji International!
My golf is slowly coming together, although my short game still needs work.
Today was a perfect day to practice as it was super windy, blowing around 35km/h all day!
I was hitting 3 iron into a particular hole where I usually have about 9 iron in!
Last year at the Fiji International, it was recorded as one of the highest cuts ever in a professional golf tournament, at +14 due to cyclonic winds!!
So these last few days I’ve been really practicing my low trajectory ball control so I can keep it in play if the weather happens to be bad as last year!
It should be really interesting to see how the top players from Europe are going play as well!
I am currently back in Australia practicing and preparing for next weeks Fiji International, my first European Tour event.
My game isn’t in its top form yet, but working hard to produce my best golf against a strong field!
I haven’t uploaded a swing in a while, so here it is!
Today was the final round of the South Pacific Open!
I finished T35th after a tough final day in some extremely windy conditions.
Throughout the week my iron play was great but my Driving and putting let me down which led to some easy mistakes.
Tomorrow I will be flying back to Australia to practice and get ready for my first European Tour event, the Fiji International!
It will be a strong field so I definitely have to bring my best game in a weeks time!
