On Monday I played the Australian PGA Championship qualifier. Unfortunately my long game was very inconsistent and could not qualify.
The last few days I’ve been going back to the basics to get my feel back and my long game control has improved so much!
Next week I will be back at Q-school so I will be using this week to prepare for it!
Recently I’ve been practicing to get ready for tomorrow’s Australian PGA Championship Monday Qualifier!
My game has been consistent and I am really looking forward to tomorrows round!
There are 2 courses with approximately 65 players each and only 3 players get through from each venue!
Hopefully I can update everyone with some successful news tomorrow!
On Monday I played a pre-qualifying round to get into the Australian Open. I shot a score of -3, however, ended up missing by 1 shot for the 3 spots available.
I am currently still struggling with my long game but my short game is very consistent, helping me being able to score.
I am back on the Gold Coast now preparing for the Australian PGA Championship qualifying in a couple of weeks time.
I will make sure my game is in top form by then!
Yesterday was the final day of the NSW Open.
My game was okay, however, a few easy mistakes led to me missing the cut by a couple.
The course was in great condition and was playing fairly easy the first few days, leading to some good scores making the cut at -5!
I spent the last few days practicing and getting ready for tomorrows Monday Qualifier for the Australian Open Championship.
It was also my 20th Birthday on Friday! Thank you very much to everyone who sent me birthday messages!
Today I played a practice round at Stonecutters Ridge Golf club, the venue for this years NSW Open.
The course was in great condition, with very firm greens and fairways!
My game is coming along well so hopefully I can keep this rhythm going throughout the week!
Tomorrow I will be having a practice round with Mr Peter Senior!
It will be very interesting to see how he will be managing this golf course!
